What’s Up Sideline Hackers!!
Today is Saturday… and since the day starts with the letter “S”, I wanted to create a post that provided a bit of an update on The State of Our Sideline.
I’ve been thinking about writing a post like this for a while now and with everything that’s been going on lately with the Sideline Society brand I thought now would be the perfect time.
To provide a bit of backstory:
I published my first blog post under Sideline Society the day after Christmas in 2016. Crazy to think that was just over two years ago!! I had been blogging under my very first online alias, A Beautiful Passion, for a few months and after realizing that since I was talking to everyone, I wasn’t talking to anyone; I needed to niche down.
Like all great bloggers starting out, I started to evaluate what I did on a daily basis - pondering on what I loved to do, what my life’s passions were, and it didn’t take me long to figure out that I was a sports mom. Coupled with the fact that I love to write and had been wanting to start cataloging everything that I had been doing to create a more organized and chaotic-free lifestyle when it came to my boys sports-life, along came Sideline Society.
Fast forward two years, and my commitment to blog consistent and create a tangible resource that would really make a difference in the lives of millions of sports families around the world has allowed us to grow on a daily basis across multiple platforms:
Instagram including IGTV
I’d love it if you joined me on your favorite platform!
I’m beyond excited to continue to do this work that I absolutely LOVE! I love being there to support you so you can support your athlete!
I just published one of my favorite blog posts to date; I love sharing my experiences (and humor) with you all! Check it out, secrets 3 and 4 are super legit!
Also, we’re building an app! The World’s First Ridesharing App for Youth Sports!
Watch the video below to see what it will do for you!
Here’s how it works:
If you participated in helping us raise the funds to support the development of our app prototype, THANK YOU!! As far as a timeline, here we are:
As you are probably well aware (I say probably because sometimes we mama’s can’t remember what month we’re in, lol)… we’re already in March, and that means we’ve started building the functional prototype of the app.
As a matter of fact, we’ve just finished signing the contracts to get this step started! Super exciting!
I continue to blog weekly here on SidelineSociety.com and recently I’ve added some new categories and resources to further support you in your sideline journey.
The categories include:
Click on the individual category to check out the posts for it; or click here to view all of them.
As you can tell, we’ve been extremely proactive in building up this incredible platform and our mission is as strong as ever to continue!
I say all of that to say…
I am extremely grateful and incredibly humbled that so many moms and dads have allowed me to help them along the way with their #SidelineLives. I have absolutely loved getting to be the biggest cheerleader for each and every one of you as you’ve shared about your athletes and sideline success stories. I’ve loved answering questions in our groups and sharing experiences as you work to figure out how to make it all happen day-to-day.
It has truly been an honor to be a part of your sideline.
I truly look forward to be able to continue to provide you with the resources and community support that you need as a busy sports mom. From our flagship app resource to the platform we’re building I simply can’t wait to make your time on the sideline as easy and enjoyable as possible!
So that’s my little “State of the Sideline” update for now.
I would be straight up lying if I said I wasn’t freaking out a little bit as we move forward - new challenges are always a little scary!
But our hope is that this growth will be good not only for us, but also for you.
So THANK YOU SO MUCH form the very bottom of my heart and sideline for supporting Sideline Society over the past couple of years!
It really means more to me than you know.
P.S. If you’re new to Sideline Society, thank you for joining us! I’ve love to hear about how you find us in this great big online world, in the comments below.
